The African Climate Policy Centre (ACPC) is a hub for demand-led knowledgebase on climate change in Africa. We are an African centre addressing the need for greatly improved climate information for Africa and strengthening the use of such information for decision making, by improving analytical capacity, knowledge management and dissemination activities. The overall objective of the Climate Change and Desertification Unit (CCDU) is to provide policy and political guidance, and to enhance coordination and harmonization of Africa’s activities in the field of climate change. This would entail effectively engaging Africa’s political leadership at all levels using the AU structures in order to advance climate change issues.  The ClimDev Special Fund (CDSF) is a demand-led Fund that pools resources to finance investment activities on the ground across Africa for the generation and use of climate information for climate-resilient development.
